Marketing Driven By Analytics

Have you ever asked yourself, why do I need someone watching all my marketing efforts? Doesn't each marketing vendor I use monitor that and report to me? This isn’t as cut and dry as you would think. Marketing agencies normally specialize in something and they believe that their specialty is the most important thing.

When developing a comprehensive marketing plan, here at Custom Marketing Solutions, we work with our clients to understand what they are looking for and where they would like to take their business. We then look at all the different marketing avenues out there to help us decide what would be the appropriate mix. Our goal is to make sure that we look at this from an analytical aspect with no real feeling to selecting a service just because we like it.

For example, when you work with an SEO and PPC company, you will find that they are pushing you to spend more on SEO and PPC to get more out of them. This isn’t always the right move. This is the same concept when talking with someone who specializes in Social Media. Again, spending more isn’t always the right answer. In fact, it is rarely the right answer.

Custom Marketing Solutions make sure we are maximizing your marketing budget every day. This means looking at all the current marketing sources to see what is working and what isn’t working. We then analyze the data and look to see what we can do to improve each KPI. If there isn’t anything else we can do and the KPI’s are bad, we shift the spending to another location. Again, the game of Marketing is spending the dollar in the right place with the right amount.

This is our specialty. We understand the home service industry and we want to make sure we are spreading that knowledge and success with other home service companies. The Forbes Insights report from 2015 states that only 22% of companies have a data-driven marketing plan. Don’t be that statistic of the 78% who don’t.
